In the spirit of OLD YELLER, discipline runs headlong into devotion in Disney's heartwarming tale of a champion dog named Big Red. When a wealthy and stern dog showman sets out to teach a carefree young orphan boy about hard work and responsibility, he meets determined resistance. The boy thinks he can teach the dog showman a few things about our four-legged friends. But when Big Red gets lost in the dangerous wilderness, these two must unite against all odds to rescue their beloved canine. This triumphant story of courage and loyalty is "best in show" adventure for the whole family!
